Hey guys!
So today I wanted to share with you about the styled shoot I put together last month that has officially been published on COTUREcolorado. I have wanted to do a styled shoot for just over a year and that vision/dream has come true.
A styled shoot is a photo shoot that focuses on a theme, mood, or style. I came up with the idea of this shoot from my own bridal shower actually. When I was getting married I had a tea party bridal shower but with limited time and resources, it didn't turn out how I dreamed (although how I dreamed would have been crazy expensive so I'm thankful for what I had). I wanted to see if I could plan my dream bridal shower and turn it into a shoot to see what it would look like and boy, was it a success. With the help of my friends/amazing wedding vendors, we gathered together and designed a beautiful vintage bridal shower shoot.
Once the shoot was done I knew I wanted to submit it for publication and one of my friends recommended submitting it to COTUREcolorado. COTUREcolorado is a wedding and life & style blog based here in Colorado. It was named best blog by 5280 magazine, best fashion blog by The Examiner, best fashion blog by CBS, and named the Top Ten Best Regional Wedding Blogs by Rangerfinder Magazine so as you can imagine, I was ecstatic when they accepted this shoot to publish on their blog. Talk about a huge accomplishment!
Here are the vendors who were involved and a list of what they provided:
